대여위치의 이용약관
- A one-way drop-off fee applies when renting a vehicle in one emirate or city and returning it to another emirate or city within the UAE. The charges depend on the vehicle category and the city limits: Between Emirates: Up to AED 300, depending on the distance. Vehicles may not be driven or dropped off outside the United Arab Emirates without prior approval and consent from AVIS UAE. AED 500: FROM- Ruwais, TO- Abu Dhabi/ Dubai/Sharjah AED 3,000: FROM- UAE, TO- Oman except Salalah) AED 4,000: FROM- UAE, TO- Salalah
- If your plans change, you can cancel or make amends free of charge up to 48 hours before the day your rental was due to begin. For cancellations within 48 hours of that day, you will receive a full refund less the lower of i) 2 days of your booking, or ii) a fixed fee depending on the country you booked in. If you don't cancel upfront and don't cancel your hire vehicle within 48 hours of the day of your rental, we won't be able to give you a refund. There is no refund if the Renter fails to show up for a rental that has not been cancelled prior to the pick-up date/time.
- Minimum driver age restrictions When you book, you'll be told if there are any minimum age restrictions for the vehicle you request. If you're not sure, please check your booking confirmation email or call our customer support team. You need to be at least 21 years old to hire and drive most of our vehicles. Young driver surcharge If you or any of your drivers are under 25 when you pick up the vehicle, you will each have to pay a young driver surcharge. The cost of a young driver surcharge will be built into the price confirmed at booking stage. If you add an additional driver onto the rental at pick up, you may be charged a young driver surcharge of AED 10 per day. (you will be asked to agree to this and is likely to be AED 10 per day. Maximum driver age restrictions When you book, you'll be told if there are any maximum age restrictions for the vehicle you request. If you're not sure, please check your booking confirmation email or call the reservations team. In most cases there is no maximum driver age restriction. If you are renting with one of our affiliates listed in 1. (Rental Provider) there may be a maximum driver age set at either 75 or 80 years of age for insurance reasons.
- Additional drivers must be approved and specified on the Rental Agreement Form. You must not let anyone else drive the vehicle. All additional drivers must meet our age, driving licence and ID requirements (additional driver surcharges may also apply). If we agree to additional drivers, any fees and surcharges will be stated on your Rental Agreement Form. You will be responsible for all costs whether they're down to you or your additional drivers. It is your responsibility to make sure all additional drivers read the terms set out in the Rental Agreement carefully before they drive the vehicle. A fee is charged for each additional driver allowed to drive the vehicle. The cost is AED 28.00 per day, AED 140.00 per week, and AED 195.00 per month.
- Requirement to bring a valid driving licence with you. All drivers must have a valid driving license held for a minimum of one (1) year. Physical Driving permit should be presented at the time of rental pick up and carried during your rental period. 1. UAE Residents A valid UAE driving licence is a must. Please note that driving without a valid UAE driving licence when on Residence or Employment Visa is a violation of the UAE Law & AVIS UAE will refuse to rent. 2. Non- UAE Residents All non-UAE residents are required to hold a valid International Driving License along with their National Driving License, except drivers holding driver’s license from the following countries. Please visit the link <a href="https://www.rta.ae/wps/portal/rta/ae/home/rta-services/service-details?serviceId=3704306">UAE Government</a> for on time updates. Original license should be from the same country as the passport issuing country if not should provide required visa/ID documents to prove valid permanent residency of the country where the licence is issued. GCC COUNTRIES: Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman EUROPEAN COUNTRIES: Lithuania, Portugal, Hungary, Bulgaria, Latvia, Serbia, Luxembourg, Iceland, Estonia, Cyprus, Slovakia, Slovenia, Malta, Albania, Romania, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Finland, Spain, Netherlands, Belarus, Greece, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, Turkey, Denmark, Austria, France, Britain, Norway, The Republic of Montenegro, Ukraine and Croatia. NORTH AMERICAN COUNTRIES Canada, United States of America EAST ASIAN COUNTRIES Japan, South Korea, Israel, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, People's Republic of China, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore AFRICAN COUNTRIES South Africa and we cannot confirm with certainty the details included within the driving licence, the driver will also need to provide either an international driving licence or an official English translation, by a notary, of their driving licence. If this might apply to you, please contact us (prior to your pickup date) as we would be pleased to confirm if an international licence or official translation will be required. Requirement to bring a valid driving licnese with you. The following documents are mandatory to rent a vehicle from AVIS UAE and must be presented physically at the counter, Valid Passport & Emirates ID. Valid Visa/Entry Documents (UAE entry stamp or visa page). Valid Driving license issued at least 1 year before the rental pick-up date. Valid International Driving Permit, where applicable, for Renters who are on UAE visit/tourist visa along with local driving licence. Valid Credit Card under the name of the renter for security deposit with minimum 03 months validity from the rental start date. Important: For Renters who opt for delivery, the above-mentioned documents should be emailed to customerservice@avisuae.ae at least two hours prior to the scheduled delivery. Original copies must be presented during delivery for further verification. Must submit proof of address to confirm the UAE address for monthly or mini lease rentals.
- As a standard, AVIS Rent A Car UAE has a full-to-full fuel policy. This means that customers are expected to return the car with a full tank of fuel. Service charges apply when a customer miss refueling the vehicle before return. AVIS Rent A Car UAE offers customers the option of Advance Fuel Purchase. This is a convenient way to avoid the hassle of looking for a fuel station to top up and prevent any penalties during off- hire. Simply opt for the Pre-Paid Fuel and return the vehicle with the fuel level of choice and avoid any impact on the final invoice. There is no refund on unused fuel.
- We accept all major Credit Cards (MASTER, VISA, JCB, DINERS, AMERICAN EXPRESS Credit card should be valid for a minimum of 3 months from the day of Rental and must be physically available at time of vehicle collection. Please note that in all cases, DEBIT CARDS, PREPAID, RECHARGE, APPLE PAY, GOOGLE PAY or VIRTUAL CREDIT CARDS are not accepted as 'security'. Russian Bank credit cards: As advised by international credit and debit card issuers, we are temporarily not accepting credit/debit cards issued from Russia and/or Russian Banks. In case of refunds, the customer has to provide another acceptable refund platform to Avis Rent A Car UAE subject to approval to process the refund. Debit cards are not accepted as a mode of security. We do accept debit cards only for payments. Pre-authorisations and Security Deposits Unless confirmed otherwise, the amount of the pre-authorisation taken on pick-up of the rental vehicle is calculated as follows: (The vehicle rental price* + Between AED 3000.00 and AED 5000.00 **) * The "vehicle rental price" includes the vehicle rental cost and all optional extras you've requested, calculated at the start of the rental based on the intended length of the rental. For the avoidance of any doubt, any "Pay at Location" amount you owe in relation to the vehicle rental (including any optional extras) will be included as part of the pre-authorisation and will be charged to you at the start of the rental (using the card provided for the purposes of the pre-authorisation, unless agreed otherwise). The between AED 3000.00 and AED 5000.00 is included as part of the pre-authorisation in case we have to charge you at the end of the rental for any of the following: i. costs to refuel the vehicle (where relevant); ii. additional rental charges in circumstances where you fail to return the vehicle or any optional extras at the end of the agreed rental period or to the agreed return location; iii. any additional charges or fines you incur relating to your use of the vehicle (which we have been notified of prior to you returning the vehicle, which will include, for example, costs relating to traffic violations); and/or iv. costs incurred as a result of exceeding any relevant mileage restrictions. Where the pre-authorisation we take does not cover the charges you incur, we will request you make a further payment for the additional amounts owed. In relation to certain high value vehicles, we may require you to provide us with two payment cards for the purposes of the pre-authorisation. - Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance. Information not available at this time, please check at time of rental. Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
- Debit cards are not accepted as a mode of security. We do accept debit cards only for payments.
