대여위치의 이용약관
- Can I pick up the vehicle from one rental location and return it to another? Yes, some rental locations let you collect the vehicle and any optional extras from one rental location and return them to another. How much is the One-Way fee? The price depends on the rental location. If you want to pick up the vehicle and return it to a different location in the same country, you can expect it to be between 18 EUR and 22 EUR. If you want to pick up the vehicle in one country and drop it off in another country, ask our reservation team for the price. How do I get a One-Way rental? You can request a one-way rental when you book or you can ask for it when you get to the rental location. If you asked for a one-way rental when you booked, the fee will be included in your rental price. How much will it cost if I did not request a One-Way rental but return the vehicle to a different location? You will be charged a one-way fee at the pay at location prices available on the day you return the vehicle.
- Cancellation The cancellation conditions depend on the way the reservation was originally booked and can only be canceled through the booking channel you have used. Reservations placed through an intermediary (travel agent, broker, etc.) can only be canceled through the (website of) the intermediary. We recommend to always cancel your booking (in time) to avoid/limit any cancellation fees. No Show If we haven't received a cancellation (in time) and you haven't picked up the rental car within 4 hours after pick up date/time, your reservation will be cancelled. A "No Show" fee will be applied which is EUR 65.00 or equal to the full prepaid amount Early return Returning your rental car early will not result in any reimbursement of the prepaid amount or compensation for the unused days.
- Minimum age: 21, except car groups G, K, L, M, N and P minimum age is 25. This is for both renter and additional drivers.
- Do I need to bring my driving licence with me? Yes. All drivers must bring all parts of their valid driving licence with them. They must bring both their driving licence and either an international driving licence or an official English translation, by a notary, of their driving licence for any of the following situations: The driving licence was issued in a non-European country The driving licence was issued in a non-Roman alphabet like Arabic, Greek, Russian, Hebrew or Japanese. Is there a minimum length I must have held my licence for? Yes. All drivers must have held their licences for at least 1 year. If a licence does not show the driver has held it for the minimum period, then they must provide evidence, such as one of the following: Previous driving licences A letter from their driving licence authority stating that they have held it for this minimum period.
- Child Seats In the Netherlands a child seat / booster (seat) is legally required for children smaller than 1m35, this applies to the front seat as well as the backseat of the rental car. We offer child seats / boosters (seats) for children between the ages of 0-12 years that meet the requirements of the Dutch law. The rental price is Euro 15.- per day with a maximum of 10 days. Our staff can advise you which seat to choose and how to install the seat. However, it will remain your responsibility to ensure it is the right size and to install the seat in the rental car. For lost, stolen and damaged child seats you will be charged the full replacement amount in addition to the child seat rental fee.
- Should I bring the vehicle back with a full tank of fuel? Yes. The vehicle will normally be supplied with a full tank of fuel. You must return it to us with the same amount of fuel it had in it when you picked it up usually a full tank as shown on the factory-installed fuel gauge. We recommend you fill up as close to the return location as you can on the return date, and keep the receipt to show us. If you don't return the vehicle with a full tank and you can't show us a receipt for fuel we will charge you. Fuel Options I plan to travel more than 120 kilometres, and want peace of mind, do you have a fuel option for me? Yes, with Fuel Up Front you pay for a full tank of fuel, based on the manufacturer's stated fuel tank capacity for your vehicle plus our costs of refuelling the vehicle for you. Then you just return the vehicle with whatever's left in the tank (even if it's virtually empty) so long as the engine still runs. How do I calculate the cost of Fuel Up Front? Depending on where you're renting, this cost could be up to 0.05 EUR per litre lower than the average fuel price at the start of your rental period as stated on this EU fuel index: However, you don't get a refund for any fuel you don't use. Can I get Fuel up Front at any time? No, if you want to take advantage of Fuel Up Front, you must ask for it during the booking process or when you pick up the vehicle. I plan to travel less than 120 kilometres, do I still need to fill up? Yes, often the fuel gauges stills look full so we ask you to fill up the tank near to the return location and show us a copy of the receipt. If you don't have time to fill up the tank, or can't show us a receipt, we will apply EZ Fuel to cover our costs of refuelling the vehicle for you. How much is EZ Fuel? Depending on where you¿re renting, you pay of fixed fee of between 14 EUR and 18 EUR. What are my options if I don't return the vehicle full and haven't bought Fuel up Front? Pay on Return will apply if you have driven more than 120 kilometres and: Don't buy Fuel Up Front Don't return the vehicle with a full tank How do I calculate the cost of Pay on Return? You pay for fuel based on the factory-installed fuel gauge rounded down to the nearest eighth (1/8) of a tank. This is based on the manufacturer's stated fuel tank capacity.We charge between 1,5 and three times the average fuel price at the end of the rental period for Netherlands ¿ as stated on this EU fuel price index: http://ec.europa.eu/energy/observatory/oil/bulletin_en.htm The price per liter will be stated on your rental agreement. This charge covers our cost of driving to the nearest petrol station at short notice, and potentially delaying the next customer's rental.
- Deposit The minimum deposit is EUR 275.00 and will be authorized on your credit or debit card to cover all (additional) costs as a result of your rental. This includes costs / fees such as damage, loss, theft, extra days, fuel and additional services. The deposit is the result of: the expected rental price (rental days + add-ons) + Excess + Full tank. Any prepaid amounts will be detracted. Method of payment We asccept the following credit cards: VISA Eurocard/Mastercard American Express Diners CUP (Union Pay) Discover JBC For the car groups K, L and M 2 credit cards (both in the name of the renter) are mandatory. An additional deposit of EUR 500.00 will be authorized on the 2nd credit card. Credit-/debit card requirements: The credit- / debit card in the name of the renter The card is physically present at time of pick up (digital cards are not accepted Must be the same credit-/debit card that has been used for any prepayments. We exclusively accept one of the following debit cards: Eurocard/Mastercard VISA Any other debit cards, prepaid credit cards, Electron, Bunq, Revolut, N26, Wise, contactless cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay are not accepted We will authorize your credit card up to the amount of the deposit. When returning the rental car we will calculate the total costs and will charge the total amount on your credit card. If you to choose to pay differently or the total amount is less than the authorized amount, please take into account that the authorization on your credit card will be held till it expires within 30 days.
- Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance. Information not available at this time, please check at time of rental. Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
- You are permitted to drive a rental car from the Netherlands to Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Finland, Italy, Ireland, Luxemburg, Norway, Portugal, Austria, Spain (except for Ceuta and Melilla), the United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland. We request that you advise the branch where you wish to collect the car of your intention to drive to a foreign country. To bring the rental car to Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia and/or the Czech Republic, you must inform us prior to your rental by contacting the rental station or our Call Center. Avis reserves the right not to rent a car in certain cases. The vehicle is equipped in accordance to the Dutch law. When taking the vehicle outside the Netherlands, the renter must ensure that the vehicle meets the legal requirements of the concerning country. This includes All Season tyres, vingettes, reflecting vests, etc.
- Damage Waiver In most cases, Damage Waiver is provided with the vehicle as standard. If it is included, it will be stated on your Rental Agreement Form (and in your booking confirmation). Damage Waiver reduces the amount you pay for each clearly separate incident of damage if the vehicle is damaged (or the amount you pay to replace any keys, accessories or vehicle documents that are lost, stolen or damaged). The amount you pay for each clearly separate incident of damage will be the lower of a) the applicable cost payable under the Theft, Loss, and Damages Policy; or b) the excess stated on your Rental Agreement Form. Theft Protection Waiver In most cases, Theft Protection waiver is provided with the vehicle as standard. If it is included, it will be stated on your Rental Agreement Form (and in your booking confirmation). Theft Protection waiver reduces the amount you pay if the vehicle is stolen during the rental period. The amount you pay will be the lower of a) the applicable cost payable under the Theft, Loss, and Damages Policy; or b) the excess stated on your Rental Agreement Form. ***Report new damage immediately through our 24/7 alarm service (+31 (0)88-900 55 00). Submit a signed European Damage Form within 48 hours after the incident. This is mandatory, even if there is no known counter party. For new damage a damage excess + dossier fee (Euro 30.00) per damage event may be applicable, the damage excess is stated on your rental agreement. - Visa debit cards and MasterCard debit cards are accepted. Any prepaid cards, even if they carry the Visa or MasterCard logo are not accepted at check-out. May only be used at check-in.
