대여위치의 이용약관
- PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING THE AVIS FIRST SERVICE. To book an Avis First service, you must be an Avis Preferred member with a valid account; if you do not have one, an account will be created for you during booking. Vehicles are provided with fuel at delivery, and charges will apply based on consumption at the end of the rental. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance through the Avis website or mobile app and must be prepaid. All standard Avis rental terms and driver qualification requirements apply. You will be asked to consent to the use of location data and biometric data to access the Avis First service. If you do not provide your consent, you will not be able to use Avis First. Avis First rentals are subject to Avis First Terms and Conditions, Vehicle Delivery & Return: You must comply with all notices on the Avis mobile app pertaining to vehicle delivery and return. The failure to do so may result in additional fees and charges, in accordance with the Rental Terms and Conditions. Airport Locations: The vehicle must be returned to an Avis First concierge. You agree that at vehicle return, you will not leave the vehicle unattended or in the care of anyone who is not an Avis First concierge.
- In addition to taxes your rate is subject to the following surcharges, separatelystated on your rental agreement: Keflavik Airport surcharge: 5.600 ISK (incl. tax) per rental. All domestic airport 1.900 ISK (incl. tax) per rental. Included in rates booked on Avis websites. Toll Fee - when using toll tunnels, roads and bridges as well as metered parking areas and the renter fails to pay the toll/fee as signposted, this will be either be charged on the rental agreement or a separate invoice is sent to the renter after the end of the rental. Current fees incl. administration fee: 4.700 ISK for Vaðlaheiði tunnel 2.000 ISK for parking at Þingvellir and Skaftafell National Parks. Traffic Fines cannot be paid at rental location. Parking fines have to be paid at local banks otherwise Avis will charge the fine plus a service fee of 4.500 ISK. Speeding tickets are sent to Avis where a service of 4.500 ISK is charged. The police will then invoice the renter directly for the fine.
- Driver must be at least 18 years old, except for luxury, specialty vehicles and larger minibuses. All drivers must have held their license for at least one year before the start of the rental. The driver must hold a valid licence throughout the period stated in the rental agreement. In other respects, Icelandic law shall apply to the driver. Drivers who are 18-19 years old are subject to an additional young driver fee. Minimum age is 20 years old for luxury, specialty vehicles and larger minibuses. For drivers that are 20-22 years old are subject to an additional young driver fee. Young Driver surcharge is 1.500 ISK (incl. tax) per day. No maximum age limit.
- All drivers must have held their license for at least one year before the start of the rental except when renting our large SUVs and Luxury cars. Then the driver must have held a license for at least three years before the start of the rental. The rental of larger vehicles which require advanced licenses necessitates the driver to present the appropriate valid license (vehicles with more than 9 seats). The driver must hold a valid licence throughout the period stated in the rental agreement. In other respects, Icelandic law shall apply to the driver. Drivers must bring an international driving license or an offical translation if: The driver's license was issued in a non-roman alphabet like Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Russian, Hebrew or Japanese or other similar non-roman alphabet-based languages. The driver's license was issued outside of Europe or North America. Additional drivers must be registered on the rental agreement and meet the same driver's license criteria that the main driver does. An International Driving Permit (IDP) serves only as a translation of a driver's existing license and, by itself, is not acceptable for vehicle rental.

- In order to validate a rental you are required to present a credit card in your name. We cannot remotely authorise credit cards, nor can we accept authorisation from a credit card if the cardholder is not present. We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express. Debit cards, prepaid credit cards or cash are not accepted.
- Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance. Information not available at this time, please check at time of rental. Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
- You are not permitted to travel with the vehicle outside of the country in any circumstances.
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is optional Customer is liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle if CDW is not purchased. If CDW is purchased, the renter's liability is reduced to an amount ranging from IKR 195000 to IKR 360000, depending on the car group rented. Theft Protection (TP) is optional Customer is liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle if TP is not purchased. If TP is purchased, the renter's liability is reduced to an amount ranging from IKR 195000 to IKR 360000, depending on the car group rented. Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) Reduces liability to zero. ISK 2300 per day for car groups A,D,N,O,B,L,E,M,I. ISK 2900 for all other car groups. Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car. Global insurance coverages are always subject to change. Please verify at time of rental.
